I’m Ly, often called Chang by my colleagues. I currently work as a Product Designer, focusing on fintech products.

Before moving into product design, I worked as a graphic designer across a wide range of industries, including insurance, fashion, lifestyle, magazines, anime illustration, and motion graphics. This background gave me a strong sensitivity to visual design and aesthetics, even though my current focus is primarily on digital product design.

I briefly attended university before deciding to leave, and later spent three years studying design at FPT Arena (2015–2018) while working at the same time. At that time, the concept of UX/UI was still quite unclear, and most of the knowledge and experience I have today comes from real projects and hands-on work rather than formal education.

One of the things I value most as a product designer with a graphic design background is the ability to care deeply about how a product looks and feels. Through working on multiple projects, I’ve collaborated closely with engineers, which has helped me better understand technical constraints and possibilities.

I believe design and engineering go hand in hand toward creating amazing things.
